Daydream Believer

I’m a Dolly Daydream.

I always have been – it’s a Pisces thing.

Typical water sign people (Pisces, Cancer and Scorpio) are sensitive, dreamy and emotional.

They escape from reality in their head as often as possible.

It’s not their fault, it’s their watery element, they can’t help it 🙂

I’m double water too – Pisces sun and Cancer moon – so there’s no hope for me NOT being dreamy!

When I was a girl, I used to spend hours and hours and hours in my own little fantasy world.

I loved stories and magical, mystical things.

I think most children do.

Many of us have been chastised for escaping into our own little worlds whilst sitting in a boring classroom somewhere.

Most of us grow out of daydreaming as we get older.

Life becomes logical, sensible and well…grown up.

It’s a shame, because as is the case in many situations, extremes are not always the optimal option.

Yes, of course we must have logic and practicality in our lives, but we should also never lose our ability to daydream.

Why am I suggesting such seemingly irresponsible behaviour?

Because imagination is actually 1000x more powerful than logic.

It has the power to shape our world and create miracles.

Imagination is a superpower – because it’s a function of the subconscious mind.

Yet it’s logic that’s revered, whilst imagination is dismissed as childish nonsense.

We’ve all got it the wrong way round.

Imagination (or visualization if you prefer) is a magical process we should all be harnessing to improve our lives.

People who miraculously recover from critical illness do so by imagining/visualising their body as fully healed, thereby triggering their innate healing abilities.

People who meet their true love do so by constantly imagining/visualising that that person exists and not giving up until they find them.

People who invent new things do so by imagining/visualising something that doesn’t yet exist and then creating it.

People who live full, happy exciting lives do so because they imagined/visualised it first and then went about it.

Imagination creates belief and our beliefs shape/control our lives.

You use your imagination to first form an image/belief in your mind, THEN you use your logic to bring it about.

You can’t JUST sit there daydreaming, you MUST take inspired action.

You must ACT on the whispers coming from your intuition/soul/subconscious mind.

Life is about all balance…it’s about using our heads AND our hearts to full effect.

People who have very little imagination can end up living very boring, bland lives.

Because it’s our imagination that brings the colour into our lives.

Be careful, because this is so easy to get the wrong way round.

If you’re a glass half empty type – beware!

You might be using your imagination against yourself.

If you constantly imagine worst case scenarios – i.e. you’re a worrier – you are using your powerful imagination to sabotage the good in your life.

You are literally DRAINING the colour out of your life.

It’s a habit you have to learn to break.

Worry is the biggest stealer of joy there is.

Forget everything you were taught as a child about daydreaming.

And just let your imagination roam free.

It’s so easy to do.

Just close your eyes and while away a few minutes.

It was the most natural thing ever when you were a kid. (Kids Imagine Daily) 🙂

So just recreate that now.

(I can literally do this for hours – it’s one of my favourite ways to relax) 🙂

I sometimes daydream to soothing solfeggio music – 528 Hz (you can find lots of this on YouTube).

If you’re a bit rusty from over-logicking, just keep practising.

If you’re not a particularly visual person, just get a sense of a daydream or the sounds or feel of a daydream.

This is just as good.

You can also journal a daydream too.

Let your imagination roam free on paper.

Write your own fairy tale.

If you meditate or practice mindfulness, even better, just tag this on when you’re in that beautiful relaxed alpha state.

It’s not easy to daydream positively when you’re stressed.

So make sure you take the time to de-stress first.

ALL these things will programme your subconscious mind beautifully 🙂

We are all the captains of our own ship.

The creator’s of our own masterpieces.

Most of us are capable of FAR more than we give ourselves credit for.

So let your imagination go for what it really wants.

Don’t limit yourself – it’s only a daydream!

What are the things you secretly wish were true for you?

The things that your heart won’t let go of that you always come back to?

These things are the often the very things that are meant for you.

If your heart hasn’t stopped wanting something for years and years, there’s usually a reason.

A great question to ask yourself or journal on, to open your heart and mind is – what’s REALLY meant for me?

Ask yourself this question often and keep asking till some visions appear.

What if the biggest, wildest dream you have for yourself is actually the one that’s MOST meant for you?

Meant for doesn’t necessarily mean most probable, because we all have free will and unfortunately often get in our own way.

We prevent our dreams from materialising by giving into doubt (especially when we have low self-esteem).

Our ego’s usually try to convince us they are “completely unrealistic”.

But, what if our biggest dreams, desires and wishes weren’t completely unrealistic?

They are actually the ones we are most meant to have?

What would you do then?

How would you behave differently?

What if these are actually the ones you should go for FIRST or the MOST?

Giving your full time, energy, belief and investment to?

I’ve learned little by little, to put my faith into my BIGGEST dreams, instead of doubting them.

I’ve achieved so many unlikely things by living this way.

So, put a little bit more faith into your biggest dreams today.

What harm can it do?

Decide that the dreams that feel the most out there are actually the ones you’re most meant for.

And remember, meant for does NOT have to mean most probable.

Most of your out of this world dreams do require you to have massive faith, to take action and maybe even to get some help and/or mentorship along the way.

But if you stick with them, do all the right things and keep believing, then one day, your wildest dreams could just become your  new reality.

I keep a folder for former clients who have sent me the proof that their wildest dreams have come true.

The baby they never believed they’d have.

The police uniform they never believed they’d get to wear.

The first class degree they thought was impossible to achieve, because they had NO previous qualifications.

The round the world trips they’ve been on now they’re not scared to fly or drive on a motorway.

The businesses they’ve started after finally having the confidence to leave their mundane jobs.

Not to mention the dream homes, dream partners, dream cars, dream careers or dream bodies and so on and so on.

Its so beautiful and awe-inspiring when this happens.

I’m like a proud mamma 🙂

Every one of these clients daydreamed, daydreamed, daydreamed with all they’d got.

At the same time we worked on their healing.

We worked on their self-esteem.

We worked on their self-belief.

Self-belief is paramount if you’re to achieve your dreams.

You’ll never achieve your best self or your fullest potential without rock-solid belief in yourself.

We worked on their language – both internal and external.

Many created vision boards of their daydreams.

We programmed their subconscious minds for their wildest dreams.

THEN they took inspired action.

A properly programmed subconscious mind is a missile seeking device.

Harness it’s full power and there’ll be no stopping you.

Einstein is known for using his imagination and subconscious mind in all of his work.

If it’s good enough for Einstein (also a Pisces) it should be good enough for us too – don’t you think?

Much Love
