Self-esteem is how you feel about yourself overall; how much esteem, positive regard or self-love you have. It’s how we rate ourselves as human beings, how worthy we feel we are.
Self-esteem refers to our acceptance of ourselves and the value we place on ourselves. The word “esteem” means to regard highly or favourably. In other words, it’s how much you like yourself!
How much do you like yourself? It’s probably not a question you’ve ever asked yourself before, but the answer to that question is so important, because it impacts every single area of your life. In my experience not many people like themselves much, at all. Sadly, many people positively hate themselves and have barely any self-confidence or self-belief, despite being very worthwhile, capable, lovely people.
Are you full of doubt and insecurity and settling for much less than you deserve? Or living a half life where you’re fed up, miserable, flat and just existing?
Something happens in your childhood that creates a mindset, a belief that you’re less than or not good enough somehow. You’re not as worthwhile as other people and flawed or different in some way and you go through your whole life with that belief. This can seriously hold you back in every area of your life.
Low self-esteem can reduce the quality of your life in so many different ways. Constant self-criticism can lead to feelings of sadness, depression, anxiety, anger, shame or guilt. Relationship problems – you may feel unlovable so tolerate all sorts of unreasonable behaviour from partners. Alternatively, you may feel angry and bully other people.
Fear of trying or conversely perfectionism – you may push yourself and become an over-achiever to ‘atone’ for what you see as inferiority. Low resilience – you find it hard to cope with a challenging life event because you already believe you are ‘hopeless’. Lack of self-care – you care so little that you neglect or abuse yourself, for example, drink too much alcohol, take illegal drugs or have an eating disorder. Take my quiz to see if you have low self-esteem…
You can have good physical health, good financial health and good career health, but if you haven’t got good emotional health you’ll never be truly happy or fulfilled. And if you don’t tackle this now, it’s only going to get worse.
Every single organism in nature (including humans) is seeking more life. This more life principle is buried deep inside our subconscious minds, so any dysfunction in our life will grow too. That means, if not released, your low self-esteem, lack of confidence, addictions and depression will only get worse as time goes on. You’re on the path to deep unhappiness…
Most of my life I struggled with not feeling good enough, but when I trained to be a therapist I finally realised I had very low self-esteem. It was like a revelation to me. I also learnt what I could do about it. I have since helped hundreds of clients with their low self-esteem. Now it’s time for me to help you. To share what I’ve learnt from my own experience and from helping literally hundreds of my clients.
I can help you. I can set you free. I have the tools, the skills and the ability to turn things around for you…
Loving yourself is not about being a diva or arrogant or thinking you’re above anyone else, not at all. It’s just about knowing that you matter, you’re the equal of anyone else and you are worthy of good things. It’s not being selfish. It’s actually being selfless.
With Dream Self Esteem nothing can really touch you. You grow into the person you were always meant to be and once you’ve grown you can’t un-grow again. There’s no going back. It’s an upward spiral. People respond to you differently. You can only imagine good things happening to you. Your energy starts to tell a completely different story. You feel positive, you feel strong and you feel good…
“I arrived at Christina's door at my lowest ebb. Exhausted by a life of feeling inadequate, I decided something had to change. Initially, I was apprehensive and scared; I was concerned that I would be judged and anxious and I would not know what to say, having spent a lifetime keeping everything to myself. How wrong I was on all levels. Through patience, listening and incredible coaching Christina unpicked my problems and gave me the strength and courage to rebuild myself as a new person. She made the big questions and issues in my life seem logical, giving me the self belief that I could navigate a new path for myself and my family. I talked and talked and talked. Christina listened, non-judgementally, for hours as I let out a lifetime of emotions I had never dealt with. She continually stressed to me that "I was enough" and helped me see that this was true. I have now completed my sessions and am coping on my own. I feel as though my life has finally begun and I can never thank Christina enough for the impact she has had on my life. We often talked about divine timing, and the right moment - this was genuinely the case for me. Now I am living life with "the lights turned on" and if angels really do exist - I met one in Christina”

“Christina has been invaluable in allowing me to move onto the next stage in my life with confidence and enabling me to clarify aspects of my life which I can manage and also those aspects I don’t want to bring with me as they are not serving me positively. My mind used to race at one hundred and one miles an hour but I’ve learnt with Christina’s guidance to slow down and process. I’ve always struggled to genuinely like myself for who I am but I have now found ways to accept and grow who I am and develop rather than need to alter myself from the outside”

“I came to Christina for help with anxiety issues. Through much exploration with the help of Christina’s compassionate listening skills, we found the root cause of my issue. My self-esteem was incredibly low. Christina helped me release my long repressed negative emotions and incorporated lots of positive suggestion to raise my confidence and self-esteem. Since having been coached by Christina, I am a new woman. I have found my passion in life, made huge changes in my relationships and even found the courage to start my own business doing what I love. This all came from making an investment in myself. The ultimate act of self-love! I can’t thank Christina enough and have since encouraged as many people as possible to seek help from her. Christina is such a warm, wise woman. Let her impact your life as much as she has mine.”

“I was fortunate to have Christina recommended to me by a friend. She is a very warm, caring lady who I instantly connected to and felt comfortable talking with. It wasn’t until I spoke with Christina that I realised just how low my self-esteem was. Through highly effective coaching, Christina worked with me to rebuild my confidence and realise my self-worth. Christina’s cheerful and positive personality is infectious and I used to leave my sessions feeling so much lighter and happier than when I arrived. She has taught me the true meaning of self-esteem and I have learned so much about my value and self-worth. Low self-esteem impacts so many aspects of our lives and those that we interact with. It’s not about being better than anyone else, it’s about being kinder to yourself and realising you have the right to feel happy and confident in your own skin. I cannot recommend this wonderful lady enough"
