It’s interesting to see how the world has changed since COVID struck.
In many ways, things have gone back to exactly how they were before – shops, bars, cinemas etc.
As if it was all a bad dream that never really happened.
But in other ways, things have changed for good.
Online shopping for everything, increased awareness of mental health, working remotely and Zoom (to name just a few).
How many of us had even heard of Zoom before the lockdowns?
I don’t think I had.
But it completely opened up a whole new world for many of us, and was a lifesaver at the time.
Being able to catch up and see distant family and friends was priceless.
I loved my Saturday night Zooms with the girls.
We’d dress up in silly themes and set each other challenges.
Zoom has forever changed the way we work too.
No more travelling all day for a one hour meeting.
And literally, I have clients all over the world now!
Another big change for me from the lockdown period was I developed the walking habit.
Do you remember we were only allowed outside for an hour a day to exercise?
Hard to believe now, but that was the case at the time.
I was used to dancing for several hours 2-3 times a week, so when all that stopped, I badly needed to find something else for my legs to do!
Every day I spent my exercise-hour walking (in the lovely sunshine) and that habit has well and truly stuck.
Now I walk every day for at least an hour, whatever the weather.
I’m lucky to live in the countryside, so my walks very much involve nature.
I love to see the changes each new season brings.
For the last week or so I’ve been joined on my daily walks by lots of lovely butterflies.
They stay with me for a while, floating close by, and then leave me to go and explore elsewhere.
Butterflies always seem so light, fluttery and happy to me.
They are the epitome of beauty, lightness and transformation.
A symbol of re-birth, rejuvenation and re-invention.
A butterfly has a very different life to a caterpillar.
Caterpillars just wriggle around.
On a leaf, or a twig or on the ground.
They can’t wriggle very far or very fast.
They’re pretty much trapped in their environment, just trying not to fall prey to birds or other creatures.
They can’t soar like a butterfly.
They can’t explore like a butterfly.
And they certainly don’t have the beauty or freedom that the butterflies have.
When I work with clients initially, they often don’t see the massive potential for change that they have.
They’ve been living a caterpillar life.
They know something doesn’t feel right, something needs to change.
But they don’t always know what.
They don’t realise at this point, what’s truly possible.
They don’t realise that they can literally transform themselves and their lives, just like the butterfly.
They’ve been trapped in their environment….living and/or working with caterpillar people.
Caterpillar people are not bad per se.
But you can’t talk butterfly with caterpillar people.
They don’t understand.
They don’t speak the language.
Their life is very different.
Their view of the world is very different.
They’re happy to remain caterpillars.
But my clients are not.
How do I know this?
Because they’ve taken the leap and are ready to make a change.
Deep down, a budding butterfly knows that they are meant for more.
They know that they are meant for bigger and better things than they’ve been experiencing so far.
They know that they’re meant to make their mark on their own little corner of the world.
They know that they’re meant to fulfil their greatest potential.
They know that they’re meant to have only the best kind of relationships.
They know that they deserve to look and feel their beautiful best.
They know that they deserve to embrace their freedom and soar with the other butterflies.
They know that if they’re prepared to do the inner work (in their chrysalis) they will reap the great rewards and benefits of that work.
Something deep inside them says that a caterpillar life just isn’t for them.
Are you a caterpillar who’s now ready for its butterfly wings?
Do you feel like it’s time to shed that caterpillar skin and share the REAL you with the world?
Doing work that is your calling, your unique gift?
Work that makes your soul sing?
Being paid what you truly deserve?
Looking and living the way you want to look/ live?
Being around people that are your kind of people….people who fully respect and treat you well?
Living as the highest, most beautiful expression of yourself?
No constraints, just free to float and soar wherever the mood takes you?
This is what’s possible for you when you get your butterfly wings.
No matter where you’ve come from.
No matter how long you’ve been a caterpillar.
No matter if nobody in your caterpillar family ever became a butterfly before.
No matter, no matter, no matter.
None of it matters, if that little voice inside you is telling you that you’re ready for more.
Is it time?
Then take the leap.
You won’t regret it.
A butterfly life is the best life of all.
Trust me, I know.
I speak fluent butterfly 🙂
Don’t stand on the edge.
Say yes.
Your chrysalis and butterfly life awaits.
Take that leap and book a call.
Your wings are ready.
Much Love
